Welcome to our new home at the Northern Design Centre in glorious Gateshead! Our move from the Gateshead International Business Centre was necessary due to the increasing size of the company, so once more we moved down the road to a bigger office.

We’re pretty impressed with our new digs - particularly the combined 3D lounge/games room and the (much larger) kitchen featuring the pinnacle of humanity’s technological achievements - a tap which can deliver instant hot or chilled water.

We’ve been quiet for a while, but we’ve also been extremely busy. For those of you who are curious, here’s a photo of the new office we moved into a few months ago! We’ve also expanded the ranks of Atomhawk with more talented team members. We’ll tell you more soon!

Werewolves get new wheels

See what Atomhawk’s Corlen Kruger gets up to in his spare time with his poster print take on 70s horror film, Werewolves on Wheels. Gold stars for anyone who’s ever seen the film!

Another excellent tutorial from Atomhawk’s Charlie Bowater featured in the Feb issue of Imagine FX, this time showing how to create a unique fantasy figure by injecting new life in to an old lineart sketch. See the article on page 84 of the magazine.

Atomhawk's Sean Mooney shares his portfolio

Check out a new feature on the Concept Art World site showcasing great work from the portfolio of our very own Sean Mooney.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Atomhawk Design!

Our latest digital Christmas card was painted by Francesco Lorenzetti - one of our newest recruits! This is part of our annual charity initiative where one of our studio members paints a card and nominates a charity of their choice - in this case, Francesco nominated Greenpeace.

To see previous Atomhawk Christmas cards, check out our Charity Initiative page here.
